What language is this page in? The vocabulary resembles English, but the structure is quite different. 190.219.17.99 ( talk) 18:36, 20 August 2014 (UTC)
I propose that Siege of Humaitá be merged into Fortress of Humaitá. I think that the content of Siege of Humaitá can be better appreciated in the context of an Article about the Fortress; otherwise, the difficulties that faced the attackers and defenders tend not to be appreciated.
There is anyway yet a further Article about this Fortress, namely Passage of Humaitá. I believe it make no sense to have three Articles about what is essentially the same topic. If all three Articles are merged it will be easier to improve the editing. Ttocserp 12:49, 21 March 2016 (UTC)
I was just wondering what books or archives this information is from, because to my knowledge the only book that covers this topic aptly is Weep,Greybeard, Weep . It might help to fill in the holes we have in this article. LettowLeuven 14:37, 23rd September (ETC) LettowLeuven — —Preceding undated comment added 13:37, 23 September 2016 (UTC)
