General Córdoba was recalled to the Netherlands and left with at least 8,000 of his men to intercept the army of Mansfeld and Brunswick in the Battle of Fleurus (1622) on August 29. The current version of this article fails to mention this. Instead it reads as if Córdoba and all Spanish troops were at Heidelberg for the entire siege, continuing "Aftermath - The progress of the Spanish was unstoppable..." when there were not many Spanish left in the Palatinate at that point. Will look for a reliable source to correct this. 2.247.240.35 ( talk) 01:37, 22 September 2018 (UTC)
