I plan on adding information to the Shiba Token page about the goals of the project. First of all, I will explore the concept of banking the unbanked with crypto currency and unlocking financial freedom for billions through an investment vehicle that builds multiple streams of income. Then I will add information of the tokenomics and how the 1,000 trillion supply allows users to gather millions to billions. Finally, I will add information regarding the latest tokens to be added to the Shibaswap ecosystem and how they will allow users to govern and vote in a decentralized manner. Of course, I need permission to edit this outdated article.

Please look at the actual writing.
" Shiba Inu's use cases are expanding, and it's attempting to shed its meme status. In July, Shiba Inu introduced ShibaSwap—a decentralized exchange platform (DEX). ShibaSwap enables SHIB holders to stake their coins to earn interest. The total value locked on ShibaSwap has surpassed $500 million. Based on these arguments, Shiba Inu doesn’t appear to be a pump-and-dump scheme.".
With this its obvious that in the original statement of it not appearing to be a scheme was correct and not just wishful thinking. as stated by a pervious editor. I implore you to make the correct edits and to change the deceitful current description to the correct one.

Wither it intends to or not Wikipedia shows up as a direct connection to the search for Shib directly alongside a google search. This means that the phrase "it has been characterised as a pump and dump scheme." directly influences the price of the token, flies in the face of the Wikipedia credo and is badly misspelled. Yes shib has been characterized as a pump and dump. So has bitcoin, https://cryptonewsreview.com/ex-paypal-ceo-bitcoin-is-a-pump-and-dump-scheme/ So have been 12 Canadians for the canadian currency https://www.theglobeandmail.com/report-on-business/canadians-victims-of-new-hack-pump-and-dump-scheme/article20395046/ In fact look hard enough and you will find evidence that shoes are edible. https://bootadvice.com/are-crocs-edible/ The difference between these websites (niche or not) and wikipedia is when a search result shows up alongside a users query people are likley to believe said featured snippet. Furthermore link 1 states shib has no utility which is wrong. see https://github.com/shytoshikusama/woofwoofpaper/raw/main/SHIBA_INU_WOOF_WOOF.pdf
I strongly believe the person who edited the article to say Shib is a pump and dump did so for financial gain. Is shib here for long-term? does it contain future-proofed utility? that's up for history to decide. it is not however in the hands of one individual to modify a article with in factual statements and loose references to globally influence the information available to the general population. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Quota8Star ( talk • contribs) 16:50, 2 November 2021 (UTC)

Remove the phrase "It has been characterized as a pump and dump scheme." The reason is, by definition 'Pump-and-dump schemes generally target micro-and small-cap stocks on over-the-counter exchanges that are less regulated than traditional exchanges'. However, the Shiba Inu crypto-currency is listed on many well-established exchanges like Coinbase, which is regulated. The articles it references are questionable to debate and based on personal opinions and nothing factual that provides substantial evidence. The term 'characterized' implies a distinctive nature, yet the articles referenced provide no such distinctive data, documentation nor confirmation thus lacking credibility. Shiba inu is a crypto that’s not a pump and dump scheme. It is owned by many who invest in it long term. Some so that even the original owner who bought $8000 worth still owns his tokens just transferred some between wallets to ensure his tokens are protected preventing inflation of the crypto. Shiba inu is a community based coin that is being widely accepted. Any information can be retrieved from the CEO Shytoshi Kasuma who runs SHIB social media and is the owner.

Shibaswap is a decentralized exchange released by the creators of the SHIB token. [1] Upon launch, the total volume surpassed 1.5 billion dollars in two days. [2] The anticipated launch barely impacted the price. [3] The popular rating company Certik rated the exchange an 89 out of 100 security score. [4] Another company De Fi Safety gave Shibaswap a low score of 3 percent. [5] The launch was released with the third token of the Shiba Inu Coin ecosytem: Bone. Users could mint the new governance token by providing liquidity or staking their SHIB and Leash tokens. [6] Originally, some functions of Shibaswap were rewarding users with percentage returns in the thousands but fell as more users joined the exchange. As described in the Woof Papers, users who are unbanked could build multiple streams of income by providing liquidity in trading pairs earning Bitcoin, USDC, and Bone. Then they could stake their earned Bone to earn even more Bone. Soon, users will be able to vote on using their bone. The rewards for providing liquidity are distributed with 1/3 released immediately and the other 2/3 locked on Shibaswap to prevent the rapid decline in price. Staking rewards work the exact same way with less returns but a lower risk level. Liquidity pairs can fluctuate in price and change ratios, hence the higher risk and higher returns. [7] These returns were further amplified by the liquidity event which minted Bone tokens at ten times the normal rate. After the liquidity event which spanned ten days, Shibaswaps's volume quickly declined. Some critics noted how users had to pay Etherium gas fees twice. The two fees were to process and validate swaps and functions. [8]Another critique was the confusing user interface. Glitches in the liquidity section were frequent. Other concerns are about the possible centralization of Shibaswap. [9] As the first addition of the Shiba Inua ecosystem, more is expected to come. Shibaswap launched its own NFT service in October, 2021 which was made available to Leash token holders first. The 10,000 set collection will feature randomly generated shiba inus. I pasted each link above. Not all of these articles are from traditional news sources and come mainly from crypto news sources. My argument stands that it is important information to be included on this under developed article. Other users will find my better sources when they are published but keeping the article with very little information does not help improve the article. We understand you are trying to keep this page safe, but these sources come from various viewpoints and are backed by factual information.
These are reliable sources. Can we have someone new covering this article? The article is missing so much valid information and I have watched you reject valid changes for the last two months. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Emmettaking ( talk • contribs) 22:42, 22 November 2021 (UTC)

Hope the day finds you well Thank you for your time Zilium ( talk) 11:44, 1 November 2021 (UTC)

I don't think you realise the impact that line appearing on the first page of Google will have on investors. BTW, that not even a fact, that is what some people think. Realninety5 ( talk) 05:48, 6 November 2021 (UTC)

The circulating supply listed is "1 quadrillion" when the reality is much lower. Currently 549.1T [1] [2]. Possibly change number or reword it to say "total supply" instead of circulating supply. 195.75.235.107 ( talk) 10:55, 4 November 2021 (UTC)

Remove that shiba inu is a pump and dump coin. The last line in the opening paragraph is not an accurate description to what the subject is. It has not been proven to be a pump and dump coin - the source given is an opinion piece. 2605:8D80:562:F8DD:DD99:8A6C:C345:3B6A ( talk) 21:43, 4 November 2021 (UTC)

This suggests the coin is a scam, however the Shiba Inu coin has a good white paper and is growing in utility far beyond the efforts of like coins like Dogecoin. 174.251.169.179 ( talk) 22:14, 4 November 2021 (UTC)

This information needs to be added to this page. A new article is not necessary for shibaswap is directly connected to the shiba inu currency as outlined in its white paper. If you disagree, I would recommend informing yourself with the Woof Paper V2.
