Yes. Given many references in the Battletech universe to the 'shi' particle as death. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 161.253.23.172 ( talk) 05:02, 11 May 2007 (UTC).
To Sllamky01 ( talk · contribs), I have reverted the changes you most recently made to this article. I'm not sure why, but you have removed the standard Wikipedia formatting from the article (bolding of subject title, internal links to relevant articles, etc.). Since you are new here, you may wish to check out some of the links within the welcome message on your talk page. They explain this formatting along with many other topics. Also, I see that in your last edit summary you note that you are working toward a different complete version of the page. I suggest that you work on this in a sandbox area, either the main sandbox or one that you attach to your user page. Then you can cut and paste it to this article when it is complete (presumably with the standard Wiki formating). Also, I'm not sure why you deleted some of the information that was in the article. Is there a problem with the content? Glancing at it, I don't see anything controversial or inaccurate, but if there is, please discuss it here on the talk page. Anyhow, welcome to Wikipedia and happy editing! :) -- GentlemanGhost 01:54, 13 June 2007 (UTC)
Emperor and GentlemanGhost my Apologies I was not trying to step on anyone’s toes. The edits that I am making are at the Request of Billy Tucci. The creator of Shi. Some of the links that I have tried to remove are just not appropriate or needed updating. But I understand I am new and did not know all of the rules. I will do a bit more reading tomorrow. And give it another try. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Sllamky01 ( talk • contribs) 02:18, 13 June 2007
Image:Shi Sashimoto.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.
Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.
If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images uploaded after 4 May, 2006, and lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.

There is a lot of redundancy in this article, particularly in the character history section. Gronteam ( talk) 05:28, 2 March 2010 (UTC)
Not familiar with the Shi character, I have a question about the fictional background. The article describes her as "mixed Japanese and American," but a background of mixed nationalities does not seem particularly relevant. Is it possible that the writers mean the character has a mixed racial origin? If so, "American" is not a synonym for "Caucasian." Any clarification on that point, or am I misinterpreting? — Preceding unsigned comment added by Pagination ( talk • contribs) 00:28, 25 June 2012 (UTC)
