I am moving the following comment here, which was placed by Lukeprentice (sorry, not anonymous as I said in my memo on the article page) in the wrong place (under the reference section of the main article), and which I think belongs here. (A R King)

The article states that English words are a source of the vocabulary of Sheng. Hence the example vocabulary would benefit from some words which are clearly of English origin. Manning ( talk) 03:30, 15 May 2008 (UTC)
The "h" was included from the middle of "Swahili because "Seng" would have sounded unusual – so it's pronounced ['sheŋ], not ['ʃeŋ]? 89.64.82.55 ( talk) 14:29, 8 May 2022 (UTC)

Editors are constantly changing the vocabulary section of this article. I am not sure that this is helpful:
