It would be useful in all these bank pages to say in which juristiction they are regulated. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Geoffsquib ( talk • contribs) 16:41, 11 August 2016 (UTC)
I work for a PR agency called Lansons, working on behalf of one of our clients Shawbrook Bank. We're engaging as a member of the Wikipedia community having signed the official agency/Wikipedia agreement set out here Wikipedia:Statement_on_Wikipedia_from_participating_communications_firms. This means we follow guidelines, most importantly understanding we have COI, meaning we let members of the Wikipedia community decide (or not decide) to make changes for us. We have drafted a number of suggested changes for this page, which may be best debated through section by section. To start with we're looking to have the initial summary of Shawbrook Bank updated to reflect its history, as per other financial services companies. Therefore we have prepared the below which can be referenced via Shawbrook Bank's latest annual report ( https://www.shawbrook.co.uk/media/195571/Shawbrook_AR15_Full_Web.pdf):
Shawbrook Bank Limited is an independent specialist lending and savings bank serving UK SMEs and consumers with tailored products designed to address a selection of high growth sub-sectors of the overall lending industry. The Group’s lending activities are primarily funded by a stable retail deposit book consisting of easy access and ISA accounts, variable rate long-dated notice accounts (mostly 95 - 120 days’ notice) and fixed rate fixed term accounts (mostly one - five years).
Shawbrook Bank Limited is an operating entity of Shawbrook Group plc. Shawbrook Group plc is a constituent of the FTSE 250 Index.
Shawbrook Bank Limited is authorised by the Prudential Regulation Authority and regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority and the Prudential Regulation Authority and is a member of the Financial Services Compensation Scheme.
We're keen to get feedback and debate through any changes. Thanks. MichaelPWhite ( talk) 17:55, 18 April 2016 (UTC)
