Someone please interpret the rabbit. I'm not sure what the hell that is about.
He was hunting rabbits, but then he becomes hunted by a rabid pyschopath -- Horkana 04:55, 8 June 2007 (UTC)

Image:Sexy beast ver1.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.
Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.
If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images lacking such an explanation can be deleted one week after being tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. BetacommandBot ( talk) 08:38, 15 January 2008 (UTC)
Harry gives Bass the vault's security code after having sex with him? When does that happen? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 173.66.206.77 ( talk) 10:19, 11 February 2009 (UTC)
Why, yet again, for a british film or album, are all the review references US Publications? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 86.177.53.149 ( talk) 00:37, 4 June 2009 (UTC)
The source for the film's high rating from the magazine Total Film ( http://www.thebestofmovies.com/TotalFilm50GreatestBritish.html ) doesn't seem like a reliable source. For one, the site counter on the list is very low, and other than the url it doesn't really cite where the list is coming from (list is also missing the last entry), or when the list came out. GAdam ( talk) 04:52, 18 June 2010 (UTC)
The plot summary here seems to overstep what can be inferred from watching the film.
Though Bass has realised the truth about Logan's murder, he does not care enough to retaliate by killing Dove. Instead, he forces Dove to forfeit his share of the loot and banishes him from London.
Not one thing here can be supported from the film. -- Otheus ( talk) 18:05, 27 August 2011 (UTC)
Yes it is supported, it's abundantly clear from Bass's murder of Harry, his prevailing mood towards Gal, and specifically from his last words. What other possible meaning could you put on Bass's last words? None. He killed Harry specifically to demonstrate to Gal that he would have killed him too if he'd cared at all about the death of Don. And in fact he still would kill Gal, if Gal dares to complain about only being paid ten quid for the robbery. It is a matter of rogue's honour. Like Butch and Marcellus Wallace in Pulp Fiction, Gal and Bass are now square, but all Gal's London privileges are now revoked, and his utopian villa in Spain will now be less a paradise and more of a bolthole, not even guaranteed safe anymore. Nightmares of 'losing everything' will now haunt Gal forever. Likeamanshand ( talk) 14:42, 15 November 2013 (UTC)
He's not listed in the credits, strangely enough. Does anyone know? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 108.21.102.96 ( talk) 00:40, 28 June 2012 (UTC)
For want of a better name, as this Talk indicates he is an important symbolic character and mention of him requires retention.
Removal of correction of details need justification HERE. Kindly discuss before removing corrections. TheDoctorX ( talk) 03:59, 3 May 2017 (UTC)
Tried to condense it by removing information already in the Plot and/or not really necessary for a brief description. Please indicate reasons for adding more information--why it is important. TheDoctorX ( talk) 05:09, 3 May 2017 (UTC)
To avoid multi-edits and reverts, the "Bunny Headed Guy" obviously has devilish qualities, so I propose the identification of "Devil Rabbit" if anyone wishes to edit to be specific. To call him a "Devil" as suggested by a previous editor removes the connection to the rabbit hunt. I concede that just identifying him as a "terrifying rabbit" does not include the clearly "devilish" aspects of the dream-apparition.
Sooooooo . . . if people have objections, put them HERE, discuss them, consensus, and everyone is happy in Gal's New Pool! ^^, TheDoctorX ( talk) 08:21, 28 August 2017 (UTC)
The link in the article to Box Office Mojo says the film made $10m worldwide.
That is also backed up by a similar figure at https://www.the-numbers.com/movie/Sexy-Beast#tab=summary — Preceding unsigned comment added by 86.157.144.134 ( talk) 14:35, 4 March 2018 (UTC)
TheDoctorX, the version of the plot you're continually adding still has lots of problems. Here are some of them in detail:
Gal has a dream of a man with a terrifying rabbit's head that appears like a Devil's headThis is wordy.
After an unsuccessful hunt in which he and his friends fail to bag a rabbitThis says the hunt was unsuccessful, but also that they don't catch anything. In other words, it says the same thing twice. Why write this when "After an unsuccessful rabbit hunt" has all the same information?
The scene cuts with DeeDee aiming a shotgun at Don who merely looks at her with hate.First, "The scene cuts with" describes the film's editing, not its plot. Second, "looks at her with hate" is your personal interpretation (see WP:OR).
Shifting back to the villa prior to Gal's trip to London...Again, this describes editing and is unnecessarily complex.
Back in the car, Bass offers, "If I cared, Gal. If I fucking cared. If I gave a solitary fuck about Don Logan!" then "Spain, eh? I must drop in sometime. Pay my respects."A plot summary is not the place to quote stretches of dialogue.
Please reconsider your edits, and remember that plot summaries should be concise, as per WP:PLOT. Popcornduff ( talk) 16:39, 16 April 2018 (UTC)
I extended an "Olive Branch" to Popcornduff since, despite my best efforts, I may have fallen victim to the "U edit ME, NO! I edit U!!" Syndrome.
I do not agree with all of his criticisms, but I see some of his points. So . . . taking a breather . . . backing off, and NOT re-editing I will address a few points he mentioned in his latest response:
1. DeeDee: being a former porn-star is important because Don uses it against Gal. Outside of a Wiki Article, it also demonstrates Gal's devotion to her--he does not care. I do not suggest to add that to the summary.
2. Plot Shifts are kind of important to avoid confusion. The movie shifts between "past" and "present"--from Gal's perspective--as part of the plot. Again, not for the actual article, but the viewer has to wonder why, suddenly, Gal is in London willing to do the job he fought against for much of the movie.
3. Look with Hate! I do understand Popcornduff's objection since such descriptions can be completely the opinion of the viewer/editor. Though in the specific case of DeeDee pointing a shotgun at Don--and [Again, not for the article!] we later learn she shoots him--I am not sure how else to describe her expression. She does point it at him with determination/hate. Again, NOT for the article, she is at that time the only one to stand up against him.
I will leave it at that. I DO ask him to make suggestions to make the article better. Just as an aside, there was a discussion ABOVE on how to describe the "Bunny." I reverted to that since it seemed the easiest.
"No!No!No!No!No!No!No! NO!" :P TheDoctorX ( talk) 10:07, 17 April 2018 (UTC)
I removed from the article a claim, which seems to be accepted by a few people on this page, that Teddy Bass (Ian Macshane) "has sex with" James Fox at the Bishops Avenue orgy.
He certainly doesn't do so on screen (whatever Teddy Bass tells his second-in-command afterwards, the orgy is shown as a rather tame affair in which everybody sits around looking rather bored and blasé) and I'm not sure how it's even necessarily implied in their "Men or women?" "Oh, definitely" exchange.
Afterwards we see Teddy Bass shouting and screaming to himself in the shower, but that is surely to show us that under his suave exterior he is a hungry, nasty bit of work who has just realised that he's stumbled across a potential big job. Paulturtle ( talk) 20:25, 22 August 2020 (UTC)
