The actual text from Ammianus is:
ad Septemzodium convenisset, celebrem locum, ubi operis ambitiosi Nymphaeum Marcus condidit imperator,
which either implies that Marcus built the Septemzodium, or that he built something near it called the Nymphaeum; in either case the building that Severus built was not called the Nymphaeum
