I created this stub from the German article de:Selda Bağcan, after reading this BBC article that I used as inline citation. I used the BBC spelling. I left out the place of birth because I saw contradictory reports: the German personendata has Manisa, citing http://www.plaknet.com/selda-bagcan-hakkinda-birkac-ozel-kelime-t-8646.html (a fansite?). However, google translates Selda Bağcan Muğla’da doğdu. from what looks like the official site to "Selda Bağcan was born in Muğla." A reader of Turkish could help improve this.
