Hey everybody
I'm one of three Cornell University students who will be working on upgrading this page as part of a class Wikipedia project. Two of the members of our group (Eddie and Andrew) are on the heavyweight and lightweight rowing teams at Cornell, and Andrew rowed on boathouse row for four years in highschool. Over the course of the next couple days we'll be outlining what we plan to do to the article over the coming weeks.
Here's a link to our course page and to my user page. Please feel free to reach out with any questions or comments. [ COMM/INFO 3460-Online Communities] Andrew ( talk)

Hey guys! I'm a TA for Online Communities. It looks like Professor Leshed made a lot of great points. Definitely listen to her (she knows her stuff!). Below are a few additional notes that I have:
Image:Schuylkill Navy logo.png is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.
Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.
If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images lacking such an explanation can be deleted one week after being tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.

I added images of the various boat houses to go along with the descriptions of the various current members of Schuylkill Navy — Preceding unsigned comment added by Jyp25 ( talk • contribs) 17:34, 8 October 2013 (UTC)
All these images were found on WIkimedia Commons and were released under Public Domain. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Jyp25 ( talk • contribs) 17:36, 8 October 2013 (UTC)
I nominated the Schuylkill Navy page for Did You Know under today's date — Preceding unsigned comment added by Jyp25 ( talk • contribs) 19:35, 9 October 2013 (UTC)
I added some new sections to organize the content as well as added some content under the new sections. For instance, the Turkey Trot and Schuylkill Navy's partnership with US Rowing is now up under recent history! Feel free to give feedback. I'm also putting up more photos in the photo gallery! I think that would help a lot with the page! — Preceding unsigned comment added by Jyp25 ( talk • contribs) 12:08, 10 October 2013 (UTC)
I will be adding a short description for some of the clubs on boathouse row. I will also add a section about the races the the Schuylkill Navy hosts including the Independence Day Regatta, Navy Day Regatta, Stotesbury Cup regatta, Dad Vail regatta, and Head of the Schuylkill. Please feel free to give feedback and make edits.
