Name/character

All the Project Superpowers characters are based on public domain characters and over the course of that article he has been linked to Blue Beetle#Fox Feature Syndicate and Scarab (Nedor) so are we sure this is a new character or a spin on an old one (in which case it'd worth merging with that)? Are there any sources where the creators specifically discuss this character?

Also the name is incorrect following WP:NCC/THE and following WP:NCC (and given all the other Scarabs: Scarab (comics)) the actual name should be Scarab (Dynamite Entertainment), although the first point would need addressing first. ( Emperor ( talk) 18:02, 26 September 2008 (UTC)) reply

I have moved it (as it was silly as The Scarab should redirect to the main disambiguation) but some more depth here would be good. ( Emperor ( talk) 23:53, 20 April 2009 (UTC)) reply

This is nonsense

"While he is loosely based on the golden age Scarab, he is one of the few original characters in the series". Hell, this page should just be merged with the Scarab (Nedor Comics) page. -- Khajidha ( talk) 13:04, 1 March 2021 (UTC) reply
