In her bucket list interview, she states as having been born in Melbourne, Australia and moved to the States two years after. So, would deeming her as an "American Journalist" be appropriate? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 69.123.102.43 ( talk) 16:23, 26 June 2012 (UTC)
Her first job was in Butte, Montana, not Missouri. She talked about it on the Tonight Show tonight, about how the station closed 10 days after she started working there. But at the moment I can't find a better print source than this. - LtNOWIS ( talk) 04:54, 31 August 2012 (UTC)
There are several contradictory statements here... For instance, in the lead paragraph, it states that Gutherie "joined NBC in September 2007" but in the Biography section states that Gutherie "became a reporter for NBC News in 2008". Additionally, in the Biography section, it states that Gutherie worked at WRC-TV until she left for a job with CourtTV in 2002 while simultaneously working for a D.C. law firm, but then states that she graduated from Georgetown Law School Magna Cum Laude in 2002. Impressive, but doubtful. It is more likely that she left WRC, got her law degree, and then went to work for CourtTV and a law firm, but we really don't know. The timeline needs a bit of research and rework. CharleyHart ( talk)

There appears to be some confusion regarding Savannah Guthrie's current title(s) at NBC News. Here's is a link that leads to her current official bio at NBC:
https://www.nbcumv.com/talent/savannah-guthrie/bios_read_more?show=151259
The first sentence reads, "Savannah Guthrie is the co-anchor of NBC News' "Today." She also serves as NBC News Chief Legal Correspondent."
Can we agree that both of her current titles should be noted in her Wikipedia article? /

As I said That site does not update things very good or it take a long time. same with TODAY Show bio of her on it own website. And Just because it says it on her twitter account does not mean she is. she just hasn't removed it yet. It took NBC them whole year or so to remove Meredith vieria from the TODAY Show credit from NBC Universal on the page for TODAY Photos, News and Press Releases. Savannah hasn't been Legal Analysis for over 2 Years now. The last time she acted in that role was on Ann Curry last day as Co-anchor Morningtv13 ( talk) 20:21, 21 March 2015 (UTC)
What exactly is ancestral background? She was born in Australia but she is not of Australian/Oceania descent as far as I know of. I read the surname 'Guthrie" is a old Scottish Name and has Origins in Scotland. She likely has Scottish Descent. Does anyone have any information on what her ancestry? How old was savannah when she had her children? 2600:8805:AB01:E400:CCE4:1D62:CAEE:3F5B ( talk) 14:02, 12 January 2022 (UTC)
It is so pointless to watch Savannah Guthrie playing with her hair, a very nervous habit and distracting 2601:704:180:C0D0:D91:2766:4750:1AA4 ( talk) 01:39, 24 July 2023 (UTC)
It is great to see a journalist who has been on the air for many years and interviewed so many people. The odd thing is this posting lacks anything she has said over all that time that is controversial. Can we treat all public figures without bias. 174.175.181.134 ( talk) 00:38, 31 October 2023 (UTC)
