It may be worth incorporating something about Sandwell the place, as opposed to the valley or Priory. Sandwell itself is effectively the area between Soho, Handsworth, Smethwick, and Junction 1 of the M5, at the southern end of Sandwell Valley. DWaterson 13:39, 17 July 2007 (UTC)
No mention of education in main article except for one college, and no link to the oddly-titled article Other secondary schools in Sandwell. A whole lot of such schools had their articles turned into redirects to this, with no apparent discussion. Looks very odd, and presumably is the result of some curious local politics? Someone ought to sort it out, anyway, please. PamD ( talk) 13:03, 11 May 2011 (UTC)

As one of the most deprived areas of the UK, some idea of the racial & religious demographics would be useful?
