I'm cleaning up and editing the translation. I'm going to follow the example of Boroughs of Berlin and use "borough" to translate Stadtteil. Normally I use "neighborhood" for that, but the Stadtteile of Salzgitter are more than just neighborhoods; they used to be separate towns. -- Angr/ tɔk tə mi 08:19, 27 October 2005 (UTC)
According to http://www.gedenkstaette-salzgitter.de/english/index.htm there were actually three concentrations camps in what is now Salzgitter: Drütte, Watenstedt/Leinde, and Salzgitter-Bad (see the map at http://www.gedenkstaette-salzgitter.de/english/gesch_2.htm). — An gr 09:56, 18 April 2007 (UTC)
