Since the James J. Hill Reference Library is now the Saint Paul Central Library, I think these topics can easily be covered in one article.-- Appraiser ( talk) 18:46, 20 March 2008 (UTC)
The Hill Library has absolutely no affiliation whatsoever with the St. Paul Public Library. SPPL receives its funding from the government. The Hill Library is entirely responsible for generating revenue on its own. They have completely different staffs, missions, collections, governing boards, and while SPPL acts as a traditional public library should, the Hill Library runs its business more like a for-profit company in a non-profit environment. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Michaeledmonton ( talk • contribs) 15:10, 31 July 2008 (UTC)
