I remember STAR as far back as the late 1980s, before they acquired these other companies.

This article implies that STAR didn't exist before these networks merged.

I must have misread the STAR history (or the billboards). I remember in 2001 having seen along PA 65 the big billboards indicating that MAC became STAR. -- Akira123323 02:48, 8 May 2006 (UTC) reply
