The last couple of volumes of Warship cover the Adriatic Campaign in some detail. Any other minor engagements in which Novara was involved? And what about that Sieche book I sent you?
I haven't had time to look through Sieche yet - been working on translating some material for the Austro-Hungarian ironclads. I figure one of my next projects is tackling the small cruisers from the 1880s-1900s, and as I'm working through Sieche for that, I'll circle back and add what I can to the cruisers I've already done (along with the Novara class article).
pipe had been damaged "were damaged", I think.
Good point
he continued to direct his ship he "remained in command"
