I changed English: Moscowphilism into just (Moscowphilism) as I believe mentioning that it is in English is redundant. This term is unusual but it is used in historiographical literature [1] [2]and it being an equivalent to a known Ukrainian term merits its mentioning in brackets. I would appreciate anyone voicing their opinion before just editing silently. Hillock65 16:35, 2 November 2006 (UTC)
Parts of this article should be merged with Ukrainian Russophiles, as both cover the same subject matter.-- Hillock65 03:21, 24 April 2007 (UTC)
Russophiles in Ukriane? It is absured, most of the people in Ukraine are Russian, there are Kievan Rus,Muscovite Rus,White Rus,and others. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 71.181.184.22 ( talk) 19:42, 26 July 2009 (UTC)
I think both articles should be merged into one article, and that there should be much broader coverage Russophilia in the former Soviet Union. Charles Essie ( talk) 21:20, 27 January 2013 (UTC)
Is being a politician with friendly ties to Russia (or more particularly its leadership) enough to justify someone's (alleged) "Russophilia"? Or is it rather meant to be a wall of shame? If someone political leader has friendly ties to the USA/China is that Americanophilia/ Sinophilia? Is this list rather meant to be a Wall of Shame along the lines of notable highly "unbiased" Western news organizations?
Under this section, on the 28th of September 2019, user Daboluo123 made an edit, stating "fixed grammar". However the only edit that was made, was the removal of Recep Erdogan from the list of Notable Russophiles. This is a deceitful use of the notes, in order to politicise content. --

Fenetrejones,
you really try to invent very special interpreation for Russophilia, especially calling Ribbentrop like that is really awesome, contradicted even wikitionary you used as a source, and now renaming to pro-Russian does not really helps, this page is for Russophiles....no consensus.( KIENGIR ( talk) 10:38, 16 December 2020 (UTC))
KIENGIR, I have no idea what you are saying. "Ribbentrop trop is awesome"? To love Russia, does not mean that you want to be annexed by Russia. He opposed Hitler's invasion of Russia, only supported the Japan alliance to oppose the United States and not the Soviet Union and during ww2 he wanted Hitler to rebuild ties with Russia (All on his wikipedia page). However, I will concede that may not exactly be Russophlia. Fenetrejones ( talk) 03:22, 18 December 2020 (UTC)
