Cyberbot II has detected that page contains external links that have either been globally or locally blacklisted. Links tend to be blacklisted because they have a history of being spammed, or are highly innappropriate for Wikipedia. This, however, doesn't necessarily mean it's spam, or not a good link. If the link is a good link, you may wish to request whitelisting by going to the request page for whitelisting. If you feel the link being caught by the blacklist is a false positive, or no longer needed on the blacklist, you may request the regex be removed or altered at the blacklist request page. If the link is blacklisted globally and you feel the above applies you may request to whitelist it using the before mentioned request page, or request its removal, or alteration, at the request page on meta. When requesting whitelisting, be sure to supply the link to be whitelisted and wrap the link in nowiki tags. The whitelisting process can take its time so once a request has been filled out, you may set the invisible parameter on the tag to true. Please be aware that the bot will replace removed tags, and will remove misplaced tags regularly.

Can someone please include the submarine rescue vessel MV Mega Bakti in the list of RMN assets? I'm afraid if I try it, I'll mess up the formatting. Thanks! Link here : http://www.keppelom.com/en/content.aspx?sid=2580
Resolved This issue has been resolved, and I have therefore removed the tag, if not already done. No further action is necessary.— cyberbot II NotifyOnline 20:05, 9 April 2014 (UTC)
I check pages listed in Category:Pages with incorrect ref formatting to try to fix reference errors. One of the things I do is look for content for orphaned references in wikilinked articles. I have found content for some of Royal Malaysian Navy's orphans, the problem is that I found more than one version. I can't determine which (if any) is correct for this article, so I am asking for a sentient editor to look it over and copy the correct ref content into this article.

Similar to the IP-user comment on top of this talk page from back in 2007, I found that all reliable sources, including Jane's Fighting Ships, list the Kasturi-class ships as corvettes, not as frigates. Therefore I change the information in this article according to those sources. DavidDCM ( talk) 15:17, 12 January 2015 (UTC)

There are possible inaccuracies in the rank insignia of the ratings (OR-1 to OR-7). I noticed they were replaced by "new" rank insignia on 28 August 2019 that have chevrons, however I believe that there may have been a misunderstanding.
The chevrons in the navy (in accordance with Commonwealth navies traditions) stand for years of service as opposed to an indication of rank. For example, one chevron indicates 5 years of service and so on. Both insignia the so-called "new" and "old" are correct, however, the insignia with the chevrons is worn on the left sleeve while the one with the star or anchor is worn on the right sleeve. Usually, the insignia worn on the right sleeve is used to denote the role of the sailor and the rank. As far as I am aware, this has always been the case and there has been no change of rank insignia in the Royal Malaysian Navy as of the 26th of September, 2019. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Yiheng16 ( talk • contribs) 02:17, 26 September 2019 (UTC)
