Is Roy Clark still alive?
Yes, Mr. Clark is still alive and tours and is on the Grand Ole Opry all the time. Alakey2010 May 05, 2006 9:36 PM.
Does Roy have a particular melody or song that could be considered his signature tune? I'm thinking specifically of Malagueña [1] [2], but there may be another. — Loadmaster ( talk) 02:24, 17 April 2008 (UTC)
What is Roy Clark's best known guitar song? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 69.154.18.120 ( talk) 22:42, 16 October 2008 (UTC)
Is Roy Clark Married? No Mention of Wife or spouse on here or on his site. K8cpa ( talk) 18:14, 2 December 2008 (UTC)
I don't know about married. But he does have a son. Roy Clark Jr. He worrks for the Bureau of the public debt in Parkersburg, WV //// Herogamer ( talk) 20:50, 20 January 2010 (UTC)
I once read (I think on Wikipedia) that Roy Clark gave HUGE amounts of his income to children's hospitals. I have no citations, but if it IS true, it would be nice to see him recognized. I am pretty sure it was once in this article (maybe three years ago). If anyone knows or has a citation, can you contribute? I am very curious about this VERY talented man. Thanks —Preceding unsigned comment added by 76.246.235.134 ( talk) 04:18, 25 February 2011 (UTC)
I met Roy Clark and shook his hand in Tulsa at Children's Medical Center in 1976. I was 14 years old and an inpatient. Roy Clark did indeed donate massive amounts to CMC. What an awesome person he was. God Bless him !
I think any of Roy Clark's fans will agree that he's talented. The article says he can play "several" instruments. Does anyone know just how many and which ones? I know he plays the guitar, banjo, and fiddle, and I've also seen him play the harmonica and the piano. Are there any others? 67.45.97.21 ( talk) 22:24, 16 October 2015 (UTC)

Hi Hydrargyrum Regarding your claim that Template:Infobox musical artist instrument requires a discussion to reach consensus first, I have looked it over and can find no such wording there. However, I do understand its wording that only instruments the musician is known for using primarily be listed. To act in good faith, I will list it here, and you can tell me your position. One of my fondest memories of Hee Haw is Roy and Buck and their dueling banjos. Clark is widely known for playing the banjo just as much as the guitar. Here's some articles. [3] But if you search, you will see more articles that demonstrate this was a primary instrument for him. For example, he played the banjo on Hee Haw for 24 years. This article gives undue weight to Clark's radio and TV career. While needed, his musical career is far more important. Can't anyone improve that section? A casual reader would conclude that Clark is known for his 1950s radio and TV appearances, rather than his music or Hee Haw. - Tim1965 ( talk) 17:59, 28 November 2018 (UTC)
