Can we add an image of a rotulus showing what direction the writing is done? RJFJR ( talk) 18:43, 21 September 2018 (UTC)
Under the two portraits is written: "depicting two different men wearing laurel wreaths, one holding the rotulus (left), the other a volumen (right)". The picture itself does not justify this description. There is no indication that either man is holding a rotulus, nor any reference to any scholarly work arguing that it is.
