Aussie Invader is the only land speed record contender currently in progress. Given the record has stood for 25 years, if it succeeds it will be worldwide front page news.
Their website indicates active progress as of August 2022. There are links to news videos on the site. Thwe press will be mainly Australian. — Preceding
