Yes, she is still alive, as the article indicates. Her birthdate in the article (which can be verified) indicates this age as well. Is there a question/concern/addition you have for this article?

Are the 1941 dates in this article correct? The way it now reads, it sounds like the US was at war in February, 1941, which isn't true. -
