The article appears to devote quite a lot of space (half the text approximately) to the issue of the cottages rather than providing information about the park itself. The cottages issue also appears to be a bit of a soapbox. -- Whpq ( talk) 18:39, 28 June 2011 (UTC)
The park information has been expanded considerably to address this comment but the discussion on cottage issues reflects local concerns and existing news coverage. The soapbox remark is perhaps a bit harsh. Barkentine ( talk) 03:46, 8 September 2011 (UTC)
I don't edit many articles so if I'm doing this wrong I apologize, but I think it's important to recognize that Rondeau was actually Ontario's *FIRST* and *ONLY* provincial park in 1894. Algonquin was chartered as a National Park in 1893 but didn't become a provincial park until 1913, 19 years after Rondeau. In 1894 there was only one provincial park in Ontario -- and Rondeau was it.
