Dig at American Tourists

I changed a line that stated "travelers (especially those from the United States)..." It seemed a little like an insult towards americans, and judging from the photo included with this article(with the sign also in Japanese) there clearly are other nationalities that feel that way. rigbyl7 @ work 12.43.88.120 ( talk) 02:09, 21 December 2007 (UTC) reply

Category ?

Would it be appropriate for this entry to support a Category? It would be nice to "travel" down the Romantic Road through the various articles associated with it. ComputerGeezer ( talk) 23:51, 28 March 2008 (UTC) reply

Lede too cynical?

If it was a medieval trade route, then it has historical significance, and to start the article by saying it's an invention of 20th-century travel agents seems a tad too cynical. 174.24.25.18 ( talk) — Preceding undated comment added 04:50, 8 May 2015 (UTC) reply
