According to recent press releases, the RR3300 is also the powerplant planned for use in the Bell 47GT-6 by Scott’s – Bell 47 Inc. of Le Sueur, Minnesota. The announcement was made at Heli-Expo 2013 in Las Vegas on March 5. The Bell 47GT-6 is to be based on the Bell 47G helicopter, with numerous technology enhancements.
