It is way too much of a stretch to say that Massimino is considered one of the greatest college coaches of all time. —Preceding

People who remove "unsubstantiated" information on his family and or ethnicity are out of line, as a member of his family I know this information to be true and it should be left alone. It has been stated previously that a member of the family added the information so it should be left untouched. Other members of his family have had success in various forms and it deserves to be recognized in the article, when other people have successful family members it is almost always included in their articles to recognize that success of the whole family. — Preceding

Richstevefuture, such editors are completely in line. The testimony of Massimino's family members or Massimino himself carries no weight on Wikipedia. Only what can be verified in reliable, published sources should be included on Wikipedia. Please see
Wikipedia:Identifying reliable sources and
Wikipedia:Verifiability for starters and let me know if I can help. All the best,

I know his hometown is Hillside, but I'm not sure he was actually born there. Can this be verified? There was no hospital in Hillside, at least since the 1950s, but I don't know if there was anything in the 1930s or whether he was born at home.
