@ Fgvwiki07, Spintendo, and Drmies: @ Jytdog, Kudpung, Winged Blades of Godric, and John from Idegon: (pinged because you made a recent edit to the article.
I reverted this because it seems to go against collective improvements made to the article, also there may be issues with conflict of interest or ownership. However, there may be some usable material in that edit. Jonpatterns ( talk) 10:42, 3 January 2018 (UTC)
I agree with this revert, which makes the article much more agreeable in many ways. Drmies ( talk) 16:42, 3 January 2018 (UTC)
@ Spintendo:, as I cannot edit directly, I would like to suggest the following 8 corrections and additions to the article. Im also pinging @ Jytdog, Johnptterns, and SineBot: as they made recent edits in the article.
1. There is a typo in "In 2015, he founded and become president of the Granito Group”. Please use ‘became’
2. This information is incorrect: "In 2017 he was nominated as Young Global Leader by the Ministry of International Relations of Québec.” In fact, he was nominated Young Global Leader by the WEF in 2017 and in 2011 by the government of Quebec. The current sentence bundles both. I suggest correcting to:
In 2011 he was selected as Young Leader (Jeune Leder) by the Ministry of International Relations of Québec. [1] In 2017 he was nominated Young Global Leader by the World Economic Forum. [2]
This has previously been implemented by @ Spintendo:.
3. I suggest replacing this phrasing “...a holding company that owns a consulting business and a small investment bank.” by “...a holding company that owns a consulting firm (Granito & Partners), a boutique investment bank (Granito & Capital), and a think-tank (Impact Economy Foundation)”. [3] [4] [5] I believe it is more precise and encyclopedic if the name of the companies are mentioned, otherwise it would look vague. Also, the terms ‘boutique bank’ (and not small) and consulting ‘firm' (and not business) are more accurate and more widely-used. You can see the three companies on www.granito.group
4. I suggest adding three articles to the list of publications:
5. Please replace “academic papers” by “academic articles”. In scholarly terms, a paper is a very vague term and carries lower value. The correct term is article.
6. Replace “...from the University of Gothenburg” by “...from the University of Gothenburg, School of Global Studies”. This correction had previously been approved by @ Spintendo:.
7. Please add that
"He writes regularly to the World Economic Forum’s Agenda [6] and to Brazilian newsmagazine Época.” [7] [8]
Rodrigo is known for being a Época columnist in Brazil. The wikipedia pages of other Época colunists clearly state their connection to the magazine. It makes sense that Rodrigo’s article follows the same rule.
8. I suggesting adding this group of sentences:
Rodrigo Tavares academic work is focused on studying new forms of political and economic governance. His first publications assessed the social, economic and security impacts of
regional integration and
supranational arrangements.
[9]
[10] He also designed conflict resolution plans for armed conflicts.
[11]
His latest research is centered on local governments (cities, states, provinces) and their ability to become global players.
[12]
[13] He also studies capital markets and their impact on society and the environment.
[14] He has been described as “one of those rare diplomatic scholars who combine the scientific rigor of an academic and the earnest experience of a foreign policy practitioner.
