Discharge date

CORRECTION REQUESTED: The first paragraph of "Military service" above states that Bleier was wounded on August 20 after arriving in Vietnam in May 1969. The second paragraph states that Bleier was discharged from the military on August 20, 1969. These dates are in conflict. He could not have been discharged the same day he was wounded. The "Huddle Up for Kids Foundation" website states the following, "After several surgeries, he was discharged from the military in July 1970 and began informal workouts with Steeler teammates." [1]
