I had a question about an identical song by an artist with an identical name, read Talk:Robin S. for the question. -- SuperDude 06:23, 21 May 2005 (UTC)
Yes, you are so right. It SHOULD be Robin Carlsson, redirected from Robyn of course.
Her REAL name are Robyn Carlsson, that was changed from Robin +10 years ago - hope this helps :-)
Robyn Carlsson is her real name since +10 years ago when she changed the spelling from Robin into Robyn. Hope this helps :-)
It's about that sentence: "It is also the name of a rap song in the end of her self-titled album, which is considered to be a little controversial for this young pop singer." What is this comment about? I suggest to leave out the second part of the sentence or explain it. I really don't know, what age has to do with it... (felix)
Robyn was also not responsible for the 90's club track Show Me Love which was actually the work of http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Robin_S.
This page needs a huuuuge cleanup! some parts need totally re writing. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Jak3m ( talk • contribs) 20:15, 5 November 2007 (UTC)
Everything looks well written to me. At least now. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 68.7.184.77 ( talk) 20:12, 26 January 2008 (UTC)
Why is NPOV disputed in this article? Leopold Stotch ( talk) 05:29, 12 April 2008 (UTC)
Just thought you may want to know. Robyn was just on GMTV being interviewed by Andrew Castle. He mentioned about her working with Britney Spears and Backstreet Boys. She said she's never worked with the Backstreet Boys and said he'd been using Wikipedia for his research and that you shouldn't trust it. He admitted it and that his research wasn't very good.
Does anyone want to remove this as this came directly from her and has no references either? I thought it was quite funny that a 'respected' presenter just goes to Wikipedia for his research! I love it, but you do have to be careful! —Preceding unsigned comment added by 86.139.159.224 ( talk) 07:53, 18 April 2008 (UTC)
I'm not sure exactly what is inaccurate, but see for yourself: [1] Watch from 12:38 on. Perhaps it's just the radio moderator who misquoted Wikipedia. -- 85.0.218.139 ( talk) 22:50, 7 August 2008 (UTC)
Describing her living conditions as "squalid" seems a bit much. Her apartment is light and airy with high ceilings and sparse furnishings. Typical Swedish aesthetics. Not squalid at all. I suppose the apartment is of modest dimensions compared to the ostentatious residences of US celebrities. The Daily Show footage also shows she does lots of recycling, which was very touching I thought. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 124.168.52.51 ( talk) 05:58, 24 April 2009 (UTC)
-- 91.154.109.218 ( talk) 13:16, 14 January 2011 (UTC) Robyn has been nominated for International Female at the 2011 Brit Awards, it has been confirmed by Brit Awards website. Should we include in the awards list were the grsmy awards been listed.
I think Robyn's wins at this year's Swedish Grammis awards show should be put on this page, preferably at the bottom with the other awards. She won Best Female Artist, Best Composer (with Klas Ahlund), Best Album and Best Song for 'Dancing On My Own'. In the past, Robyn has also won Swedish Grammys, and that was mentioned in the top part of the Wikipedia article. Reichess ( talk) 21:45, 18 January 2011 (UTC)
The Sunderland City Council will view an ice rink project on the 26th of January completed by two young girls. Counciller Kevin O'Conner has informed the council of this, it's a great idea. A letter from Paul Dobson was sent to Kevin O'Conner to get in contact with Sue Bell, Group manager. He has organized a tea, photographers and everything to take place for their idea. The parents of Robyn & Hayley are very proud of how they have put together their idea. Robyn Graham-Wilkinson and Hayley Amelia Smith attend different comprehensive schools, and are different ages. They have made everything you could need for a buisness plan. Also as Kevin discussed with Judith Hay, Head of Positive Contribution and Economic Wellbeing, should the girls wish to get involved with Sunderland's Youth Parliament. The girls and parents are exited to see the result of the meeting. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 82.19.135.31 ( talk) 19:34, 14 January 2009 (UTC)
What exactly is the point of this comment? It appears to be totally unrelated to the topic. 65.219.192.66 ( talk) 20:18, 28 November 2012 (UTC)Ed D
Robyn's song "Dancing on My Own" was featured in the penultimate episode of Ru Paul's Drag Race Allstars in the "Lipsync For Your Life" segment of the competition. Original air date 11/19/2012. 65.219.192.66 ( talk) 20:24, 28 November 2012 (UTC) Ed D
The result of the move request was: no consensus in favor of moving the pages at this time, per the discussion below; the discussion shows continued substantial support for the idea that the singer is the primary topic for the specific search term "Robyn". Dekimasu よ! 00:33, 12 November 2014 (UTC)
– Sorry, but not more notable than all other uses of "Robyn" in human history combined, which is what WP:PRIMARYTOPIC requires. At least not outside Sweden. In ictu oculi ( talk) 02:42, 5 November 2014 (UTC)
Note that User:Confabulationist in the above is a sock of a community-banned user, which leaves 5-3 in support of Robyn (singer) not being more notable than all other topics combined. In ictu oculi ( talk) 01:48, 17 December 2014 (UTC)
I was surprised to see that List of songs recorded by Robyn did not exist. I redirected the page to here for now, but feel free to get a list started before me if you have time and interest. --- Another Believer ( Talk) 16:55, 26 July 2015 (UTC)
