Wouldn't it make more sense to redirect to ROBLOX, since technically that's it's name. The roblox banner says ROBLOX, not Roblox.
No. Read WP:NAMING.-- gordonrox24 ( talk) 19:33, 16 June 2009 (UTC)
I've ref'd a couple of points to a primary source (i.e. Roblox itself). Per Wikipedia:RS#Primary, secondary, and tertiary sources these need to have some care taken, but given they are referencing straight facts with no analysis or conclusions drawn the risk of original research is limited. If these areas get expanded/changed that status may of course evolve, but I think they will be fine for now. -- 82.7.40.7 ( talk) 19:38, 16 June 2009 (UTC)

Terrible, terrible idea. Listen to Gordon, he actually knows what he's talking about. 1. Fame is unquantifiable. 2. It's not notable. 3. It's very subjective. 4. Stop pretending to be the administrators' representative. I know he doesn't care about not being in the article because, guess what, it's not notable. Furthermore, I don't care. Now I'm starting to get very mad. Roblox was made in 2005! Why does Alexa say it was made in 2004? You don't know, but I really do. It said "Online Since", not "Game Started". No, it's completely different. Go to http://web.archive.org/, and it says the earliest backup is from Aug 25. It shows a blank page, which means it wasn't out even since "29-Jan-2004". And yeah, there is ONLY 1 USER made in 2004, which was "ROBLOX" and he is the whole staff who manually (not in the "register" section, but made it through either PHP or C#, I forget) programming.) made the account. If you enter http://www.roblox.com/User.aspx?ID=1, it will show Roblox's page. If you type http://www.roblox.com/User.aspx?ID=2, it will be "John Doe". Theory says he was made in February 11, 2005, and remember, he's the second user and he only has the veteran badge, not the admin or mod badge. So, Alexa gets information on every single site and when it was created and the stats of it. Does anyone else understand? Do I have to explain more? Omg. Jeremjay24 ( talk) 15:30, 7 July 2009 (UTC)

Dear Jeremjay24,
Roblox is a startup company based in Silicon Valley, California, established in 2005. It was started by David Baszucki. We are a team of hardcore engineers with a passion for quality in everything that we do. Our project straddles several rapidly-developing aspects of internet entertainment: virtual worlds, casual gaming, and user-constructed content.
Roblox is free to play and safe for kids aged 4-14. Our product remains under heavy development and is currently in public alpha testing. We deeply value community feedback as we continue to make Roblox into a game that will excite the imagination of the young and the young at heart.
Thanks!

As many games do, ROBLOX has certain players who work for the company and can upload further things than the regular ROBLOX user can. They can upload Hats and Gear, as normal players can upload only Shirts and Pants. These players are known as "Administrators," or more commonly, "Admins." These players are adored by the ROBLOX community. Some of the most famous ones are Builderman, Telamon, and ReesemcBlox. They all have around 30 games created by them, as the most a regular user can possibly get is 25. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Deady118 ( talk • contribs) 22:41, 16 September 2009 (UTC)

There are numerous references to ROBLOX's paid benefits which do not benefit the article itself, and could be considered bias. The sources do not seem reliable enough either (random financial blogs and the company's website itself) and there is no criticisms section, of which there are numerous. There is still bias in the article. The "premium offers" section is totally unneeded and seems to only serve as advertising. I think we should mention about Roblox giving $0.65 every red hat that sells, and $0.10 every blue hat they sells, with the money going to the victims of the Haiti earthquake. The latest news post should be a great reference. Jeremjay 24 12:31, 16 January 2010 (UTC)
I tried to make this article a little more NPOV, and fixed some grammar issues. I also noticed there was no mention of the two currencies, so added a section for that. Roblox lets players program their places with Lua, but Roblox itself isn't a game made with Lua. So for example, WoW is in the category because Blizzard made the game with Lua. The game is an RPG, not a building game like Roblox. I have no idea how the devs made the game, but I'll look into it tomorrow. This is Jeremjay24, by the way. Amazingly, in Roblox, you can make your own place (for current Robloxians, "What a surprise...")! You can then save the changes and other people can visit your place. Everytime someone visits your place, you get one Ticket(Tix), the currency of Robloxia. RHYUAKN ( talk) 21:39, 10 February 2010 (UTC)

The history and development section says: "Roblox has reached an income of approximately $2.3 million to help kids build games."
The reference doesn't support this claim. Roblox received $2.18 million in funding via an equity issue, that is not income. And the last part "to help kids build games" is marketing hype. -- 82.7.40.7 ( talk) 22:41, 7 November 2009 (UTC)
I can't edit, so can someone please put this in? As of Nov. 09, 2009, there are 5,157,499 users. I looked it up. User 5157499 was the last one before I got "Error: page doesn't exist". —Preceding unsigned comment added by Nate111135 ( talk • contribs) 01:40, 10 November 2009 (UTC)
we shld tak abot musac tht is in telmons vidos. -- Toxicleaderman 22:40, 11 November 2009 (UTC)
Lawl, that above was me. I believe Roblox creates their own music. Should we mention that? Jeremjay 24 22:40, 11 November 2009 (UTC)
I'm trying extremely hard to expand the h&d section. Whoever wants to join me, go ahead. Jeremjay 24 21:33, 20 November 2009 (UTC)
How about adding the links to the help for Roblox Tutorials. Also, you could add the Ambassadors to wikipedia, so people know how the can make "extra" tickets. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Bowlnmike ( talk • contribs) 17:49, 27 November 2009 (UTC)
Hey guys. I just got my hands on some official dates. Take a look.-- Gordonrox24 | Talk 11:55, 8 December 2009 (UTC)
There are numerous references to ROBLOX's paid benefits which do not benefit the article itself, and could be considered bias. The sources do not seem reliable enough either (random financial blogs and the company's website itself) and there is no criticisms section, of which there are numerous. One of the people who chiefly edits the article also appears to be a moderator of the ROBLOX forums. 90.201.84.152 ( talk) 16:04, 7 January 2010 (UTC)
There is still bias in the article. The "premium offers" section is totally unneeded and seems to only serve as advertising. Instead of listing random dates in the customization section, add them to History and Development. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 90.201.84.152 ( talk) 16:40, 8 January 2010 (UTC)
I'd like this section to be expanded with any more information and some citations, if you have any. ~xantiss ( talk) 16:27, 23 January 2010 (UTC)
I believe this wiki page needs a section on the new Graphical User Interface system, possibly with a sub-section on the new user-created "Ro-Net" used by GUI mini-programs such as FireBlox and Enet I would create it myself, except I am still classified as a 'new user' Domos123 ( talk) 18:25, 1 February 2010 (UTC)
I got a message saying "I looked at Reference 24. The Gorilla Nation one. The article says Gorilla Nation bought ROBLOX. >< I looked at who added it, I noticed it was you. Please, check it next time. XD"
But from what I see #24 is not Gorilla Nation... am I missing something?-- Gordonrox24 | Talk 21:38, 2 February 2010 (UTC)
