This article is small, considering Roberta Smith's stature. Because Smith is so prolific, the hardest part about improving her page will be the research, because most of the hits are going to be things she has written about others. A quick search of my academic library resources shows 12,000+ results, more than half of which are *by* her. When I look closer at the smaller half, many/most of the items are people like Calvin Tompkins, or Peter Plagens quoting Smith. (Or they are about Bob and Roberta Smith.) Obviously, this all shows how important her work is, but it isn't the kind of material we can use to add to Wikipedia.

I noticed that this article has two different years of birth 1947 vs 1948, none of which seem to have the citation provided. Adding a note here on the talk page to discuss. Jooojay ( talk) 22:56, 11 September 2019 (UTC)
