Corrected his score, as it is confirmed by the USAF Historical Research Agency at 27 victories. Also, replaced some text that had been removed, due to false impression it originally came from a different source (Find a grave?). It originally came from a page I created at http://www.billybishop.net/johnson.html. While I have reserved all rights to that page, I have also given all rights to Wikipedia for this article. I also replaced photo previously taken down, and added correct copyright notice. Al Lowe

The claim that the Fw 190 pilot was Egon Mayer has very little evidence to back it other than the rumored radio broadcast. Should it be mentioned here? Jp346 ( talk) 08:02, 20 January 2024 (UTC)
