For those watching this show page, I just took the liberty of creating the List of Rizzoli & Isles episodes page. Don't know what I may or may not have left out, as this is my first attempt at page creation, so feel free to leave me any feedback you want on the List's talk page or my own as to what I may have left out; I only ask that you be clear about the difference between personal preferences, and required data per things like MOS. Thanks. KnownAlias contact 22:11, 7 July 2010 (UTC)
I just noticed that there is duplicate work going on -- a set of Season pages containing episodes for that given season, and a List of Episodes page that is comprehensive of all seasons to date. I think the latter is standard practice. Perhaps a link on the main Rizzoli & Isles page to the List of Episodes page, which I found on the Season 3 page, would be a good start? I just added data to Season 3 page and would hate for my work to be lost in a merger, but the Season pages should probably be gleaned for what they have that is unique and then deleted. Thoughts? For anyone who has read the books, is Isles introduced in The Apprentice or in The Sinner? According to this article, at Rizzoli & Isles#Book series, she is introduced in The Apprentice, but the article for The Sinner says she is first introduced in that book. One of the 2 needs to be corrected. -- Logical Fuzz ( talk) 20:19, 30 July 2010 (UTC)
I think I missed something. Why did Rizzoli and Korsak stop being partners? --

It does not matter if any of us do, or do not, see lesbian subtext in the show. All that matters is if there are notable and reliable sources about a lesbian subtext. — MJBurrage( T• C) 13:32, 19 July 2011 (UTC)
This doesn't even warrant any real response. Find a number of reliable sources that cite Rizzoli & Isles of having a 'Lesbian Subtext' and then it can be included in the article. If not this is the most asinine discussion imaginable Pat ( talk) 14:16, 19 July 2011 (UTC)
Season 2 has 15 episodes, yet every time I change it from 13 to 15 it gets reverted. The episode number has not only been confirmed by Sasha, Angie, Lorraine and others on twitter, but also by TNT, see half way down the article in this reference. It says it returns for 5 MORE episodes in November. 10+5 doesn't =13. ( Jane Rizzoli ( talk) 00:50, 5 September 2011 (UTC)).
Can someone please explain to me why a woman who grew up in Revere has a Texas accent? Is there some backstory I'm not aware of, like she lived in Texas for most of her childhood and then was adopted by a Boston family (that is, a Boston family in which the mother is from Brooklyn)??? Rosekelleher ( talk) 22:17, 17 November 2012 (UTC)
I don't know how to edit the actual page but i thought it would be cool to add that even though TNT sent out promotional DVD with the entire pilot the still had a really good turn out for the series premiere.
Plus it was something i had never seen another show do.

"Tertiary protagonist"? Isn't that just readers' interpretation? Trivialist ( talk) 04:49, 23 May 2013 (UTC)
His death is noted in the article, at the time of the writing of the message you are reading. I am seeing elsewhere that he was found dead when he did not show up for some filming for this show. Now we have to wait and see what changes would be made because of his death. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 128.63.16.20 ( talk) 19:58, 19 August 2013 (UTC)
In the article it's listed as "I'm Shipping Up To Boston" by the Dropkick Murphys - this isn't actually the song used for the opening credits of the show. The network and the show's official website both say that it's an original composition, and if you actually listen to both the opening theme and "I'm Shipping Up To Boston" it's quite obvious that they are not the same. This should be changed. 58.107.82.26 ( talk) 09:36, 3 September 2013 (UTC)
The article should prominently state that this show pretends to be in Boston but is actually filmed in Los Angeles. Some may not care, but for the many who actually live in or are familiar with Boston this is quite significant.- 71.174.183.90 ( talk) 17:50, 13 June 2016 (UTC)
Wyliepedia: To elaborate on my edit summary: Mixed-type lists are disfavored as they make machine reading difficult. Help:List § Paragraphs inside list items offers a manual workaround; {{ bulleted list}} is also popular and less fragile. I think using a definition list looks better and makes it easier to pick out names as we say quite a bit about most of the main characters, but I'm willing to be wrong about that. I reverted because of the accessibility issue and because MOS:BOLD doesn't seem to address list types. Thoughts? Rebb ing 02:33, 9 August 2016 (UTC)

...

) for each list entry—check it with your browser's debugger if you don't believe me. That's unpleasant for those with screen readers and is strongly discouraged. See
MOS:LISTGAP.
Help:List demonstrates a workaround with ordinary lists, but it's fragile and not pretty, so {{
bulleted list}} seemed appropriate.The character descriptions shouldn't contain details about the entirety of the series. You might as well just read the character list and not watch the show at this point. Character descriptions should consist of actual descriptions of a character's personality, role in the series, and time of introduction. Maybe the events of the first season. But not every single significant detail of every single season. Other articles have this same issue and it always bothers me. 2406:3400:214:9FE0:9595:DE89:3323:2BCD ( talk) 14:21, 11 March 2024 (UTC)
