Starting out

I've started this article from a translation I did of the Japanese version. You can see my work at User:HelloAnnyong/Translated/Tambo art. — HelloAnnyong (say whaaat?!) 19:04, 22 February 2010 (UTC) reply

Perhaps you could decide to use either 'tanbo' or 'tambo' as a transliteration? I think it is better to choose one to use both in the title and the text, and only name the alternative in the introduction. Currently the title uses 'tanbo' but the text of the article uses 'tambo'. Nice article btw. Andreas Willow ( talk) 07:29, 5 March 2010 (UTC) reply

Transferring the design onto the field?

Does anybody have an idea how the graphics design is transferrend onto the rice field?

Obviously, in order for the picture to achieve the right persepctive from the observation tower (and to apparently "stand out" from the rice field), it's necessary to distort the original image and to transfer the distorted image to the field.

How is that done...? -- Syzygy ( talk) 09:16, 5 March 2010 (UTC) reply

You know, I'm not really sure. None of the sources are particularly clear on it; all they say is that the townspeople use computers. — HelloAnnyong (say whaaat?!) 16:24, 5 March 2010 (UTC) reply
