It looks as though one of their products Beat is bundled with malware. I personally got 3 separate malicious packages installed when I installed it. Many other users have had the same problem (links below) I would like to add an entry to relay the information, but an Über-wikipedian won't let me edit the page.
If anyone else has better, more definitive or authoritative links please edit the page to alert unsuspecting surfers as to the pitfalls with installing their software.

I arrived here looking for information on their suspicious PC program; this article presents Blinkx as a very legitimate company. There ought to at least be a section noting their malicious software practices.
