What are "butterfly markings"?

The article mentions butterfly markings several times but does not explain what they are. I've studied the photo and I see markings on the face, flank and hind leg, but none obviously resemble a butterfly, so I'm not even sure if "butterfly" markings are supposed to resemble a butterfly or if the name has a different connotation. I've tried to explain it a bit better. The term "butterfly markings" refers to the markings on the nose and mouth, which supposedly resemble a butterfly. Is it better, or still too vague? Dana boomer ( talk) 17:41, 31 March 2013 (UTC) reply
Thanks, I think it's better now. Mnudelman ( talk) 18:37, 31 March 2013 (UTC) reply
