I oppose a merger into PAIGC. FARP were the armed forces of PAIGC, which would later become the armed forces of Guinea-Bissau. -- Soman 07:18, 23 December 2006 (UTC) reply

The FARP become the national armed forces of Guinea-Bissau after its independence from Portugal.
