Since this continues to be added to the list, I think this should be discussed before it is again. Arguments for it would be that it being a standalone, physical release (for consoles) gives it more weight than just some special digital edition like it is on Steam. However, counter-arguments would be that we usually don't add these sort of enhanced/DLC games to other engine pages. I'm fine with either as long we are all on the same page, but I slightly prefer omitting it. ~ Dissident93 ( talk) 20:49, 30 August 2018 (UTC)
I don't think the entire article should be moved or changed yet to reflect a renaming for which no games use yet. Also, the whole new studio thing could use a better source than just the official website and Twitter, but that's only preferable and not required. ~ Dissident93 ( talk) 05:10, 8 March 2019 (UTC)
I have seen it many times here in the view history of this page that someone will try to add newly discovered retro engine information and try to use Christan Whitehead's Twitter account as a source, as it's not usually covered elsewhere. Every single time this happens someone comes in and manually edits out this new info along with butchering already existing parts of the page, saying "Twitter is not a source". We know for a fact this is his legitimate account, so I don't see how something Christan states himself on the internet becomes fake/illegitimate info just because of the platform he is using. Can someone please elaborate on why this isn't allowed? Does it specifically say somewhere in the wikipedia rules "grrr twitter is a bad unprofessional site we must blacklist and prevent any citations using it"??? A decompilation of Sonic Mania was released on the game's 5th anniversary. I think the article should mention this, since it mentioned the decompilations of the prior three Sonic games made with the engine. — NES Boy ( talk) 09:11, 21 August 2022 (UTC)
