Deserves much more and some comparison to Jacob Lentz, his Dutch counterpart
Quite disappointed by the weak treatment Wikipedia is giving to Mr Carmille. He deserves much better, including comparison to his Dutch counterpart, Jacob Lentz, who placidly cooperated with the Nazis and thus helped them murder many Jews. Jacob Lentz is barely mentioned in the .nl version of Wikipedia (and apparently does not exist in any other language, including English), but the bottom line is that Lentz survived many years after the war. In contrast, Mr Carmille was a rather great man, but you sure can't tell from this Wikipedia article.

I recently added a lot of material translated from the French version. A lot of the external links & references are in French, so I omitted them here. Fascinating character though.
