Good work but couple of things before B-Class:

I don't at present have the time to review this article for GA, but I have noticed that you haven't included information on his parentage. This is available in the Dictionary of New Zealand Biography article you cite. I wonder why their names aren't in the article? It is, after all, standard practice. With this article being quite short, it is often best to mine to the sources as much as possible. — Noswall59 ( talk) 13:00, 28 February 2016 (UTC).

Toolbox checks -- no dab or EL issues.
Prose/structure/content
Referencing -- I think self-published sources are generally frowned upon but the Haigh & Polaschek book supports fairly uncontroversial info and this isn't A/FA so I'd say it's fair enough; no concerns with the others and the formatting looks okay.
Images -- licensing looks okay although I'd have thought it should be consistent for both pictures (the second includes a PD-1996 tag but the first doesn't; might be safer to add that to the first)
Nice work on an ultimately tragic figure whom I hadn't heard of before this article. Pretty well ready to pass but will await your feedback re. the copyediting and image tag before I finalise. Cheers, Ian Rose ( talk) 13:25, 21 March 2016 (UTC)
