I guess news travels slowly in some parts of the world. Joule announced a couple of months ago that he wasn't running for reelection. However, I don't recall reading at that time the reason why, that he is running for Northwest Arctic Borough mayor. The July 5 Arctic Sounder has a quarter-page ad for his mayoral campaign, featuring the slogan "Pulling Together."

Also, I should remind people that Joule didn't appear on The Tonight Show for being a state legislator. This article shouldn't be weighted too much towards his political career. RadioKAOS ( talk) 00:41, 10 July 2012 (UTC) reply
