I might be going back to Norfolk Island for work in April...I was surprised by how large they were, and pretty tame too. So might be able to get some more photos.Cas Liber (

If available, I think we should always show all growth stages and plumage variations. You don't show the downy chick, though Commons has a category full of it:

Since you have the room, it could be nice to show a close up of the head of this bird.
added. Am tempted to swap the head shot into the taxobox as then it faces into the page, as does the flying bird if I place it at the left of the article under description section.Cas Liber (

Yeah, I think you can point that out during FACm but the image deswcription on COmmons could probably clarify it has a kind of invalid licence on Flckr.

"The large range and apparently stable population indicate that the red-tailed tropicbird is classified as a least-concern species according to the IUCN" That is a very strange way to put it. It doesn't indicate anything, it is the reason it is classified as such.
they either go on short or long foraging trips with no in between lengths. If you can think of an equally succinct way to say it I am all ears. Also there is a nice picture at the top of the target article.Cas Liber (
