I am attempting to create new articles for the early history of the micro computers and personal computers. These include people, places, stores, companies, machines, products, etc. There was a retail computer store in Evanston 1977-1980 which was one of the first computer stores in USA. I am attemping to create articles for the founders of the store, and relationships to existing articles in the wikipedia.

I need expert help to properly edit this article for Wikipedia standards.

Nominate for deletion

Is this person really notable enough for his own article? Wikipedia is not meant to hold a biography of every person, just people who contributed significantly and are notable. I want to nominate this article for deletion... but am open to debate! Toon 22:24, 19 July 2007 (UTC) reply

How do I judge which persons are important for Wikipedia. Please review this interview with Ray Borril http://www.applefritter.com/node/9626. thank you.

It's a tough call. I pulled the spam tag off of this one, but when I did it, I asked for a bit more in the way of references. Is the applefritter.com article truly the only time this guy is mentioned by name? If so, I can't see justifying an article ... maybe just a mention in itty bitty machine company. If there are more, reference them. Demonstrate that this is a person that someone might look up in an encyclopedia someday. Kww 01:08, 20 July 2007 (UTC) reply

I say no to deleting this article. Its not just because its close to me, being from Bloomington, Indiana. But it seems that he was also the first person to use the phrase Personal Computer commercially. I would say that is significant. -- Suso ( talk) 04:46, 26 April 2008 (UTC) reply
