"criticizing its chorus which, according to them, forms the major part of the song." I'm a little lost here. Why would they criticize it if it forms the major part of the song? They criticized it because of what? The composition or the lyrics?
Actually, if you look at the lyrics, you will find out that what she does for most of the part is repeating the chorus. Well, I did my best. Please let me know if you think we can phrase this better. I will be very happy. :)

True... I don't see how it can be more clear than it is, then. -

I think that this should be retitled. As with other articles from songs of 4, it should be either "Background and development" or "Background and production", because I don't see what this has to do with the conception: "Beginning on June 16 to June 27, 2011, the songs from 4 were available to listen to in full each day on Knowles' official website, paired with its accompanying photo spread from the album packaging and an insightful quote..." Be consistent, because each article has a different title regarding this same section.
I re-titled it to Background and recording. Plus, fixed the other issue.

Music samples rationales do not need to be sourced if what we write as a rationale is already there in the text ext to it. :)

You did an outstanding job with this article. It is really mature and consistent overall. Congratulations. Fix these issues, then I'll take one more look and pass it. -
