Every source that I have seen lists Ratchanok as her family name and Inthanon as her given name. Her English language wikipedia biography is the only place where this is reversed. I know that in many Asian cultures the given names goes last and the family name goes first, but my understanding is that Thailand does not follow that cultural practice. Can anyone confirm that Ratchanok is her first name and should be listed first, or should we change the title of this article?-- MorrisIV ( talk) 19:40, 17 January 2012 (UTC)
Is her surname Intanon or Inthanon? At least on tournamentsoftware.com it's Intanon. -- Stryn ( talk) 11:54, 11 August 2013 (UTC)

Ratchanok Inthanon → Ratchanok Intanon – She is a badminton player, the world badminton authority (BWF) uses this name. The current name is an alternative translation from the Thai script and is valid but not as official as the one the BWF uses. I can't link directly to her official profile because the website uses AJAX, but please go here and start typing her name: http://www.bwfbadminton.org/page.aspx?id=15539 Please see the discussion 'Intanon or Inthanon' above. I check pages listed in Category:Pages with incorrect ref formatting to try to fix reference errors. One of the things I do is look for content for orphaned references in wikilinked articles. I have found content for some of Ratchanok Intanon's orphans, the problem is that I found more than one version. I can't determine which (if any) is correct for this article, so I am asking for a sentient editor to look it over and copy the correct ref content into this article.
