I added a bit of info about her collaboration on a book with her daughter and noted author
Julia Alvarez. I don't think I agree on non-notability; although only 2,830 ghits, she has had solo shows at the B'nai Brith Klutznick and Studio Gallery in D.C.
[1]. Also, I think she is notable as the mother and collaborator of
Alicia Partnoy (21,200 ghits, a kidnapping victim and the one of the subjects of ""Religious Imagination and the Body: A Feminist Analysis"" by Paula Cooey, published by Oxford University Press) and for her activism on her daughter's behalf. It may be a tight squeeze through the notability gap, but I think she just makes it.

Okay, cool, but it's not an assertion of non-notability, rather it's the non-assertion of notability that's the problem. We need
assertion of notability with decent sources. Otherwise the article will be subject to
AFD. But by all means enhance the article accordingly. All the very best...

Mi first impulse was to delete this article since it was started by
User:RaquelPartnoy. I'm not sure about her notability, even considering the high google-hits. As a painter she seams to have had some success though --
