Accually Iceland does have an army, it'c called the IDF comprised of natinal guard units from the USA so their ranks would be the same as the USA's from 0-5 and down. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 12.223.170.101 ( talk • contribs)
The Warrant Officer Ranks for the Greek, Italian, Romanian and Polish Armies which are included on the 'Ranks and insignia of NATO armies officers' page are, in fact, enlisted ranks and should be included here. The only Warrant Officers with NATO rank codes WO1 -WO5 are those in the US Armed Forces -- LONDON 12:54, 3 August 2006 (UTC)
Since 2005, in the Slovak Armed Forces, the rank of Stabny Nadrotmajster (translated as Staff Warrant Officer or Command Sergeant Major) has had the NATO code OR9. Podpraporcik, Praporcik and Nadpraporcik are now 'Chief Warrant Officers' equivalent to Warrant Officers in the US Army -- 81.145.242.55 05:38, 18 August 2007 (UTC)

The shoulder-pieces you display here are actually mixing duty-uniform forms and parade-uniform forms. Most displayed are parade versions, but not all, and not consistent. This also applies for the officer ranks on the Ranks and insignia of NATO armies officers page. See also Hungarian Ministry of Defense, Ranks. Someone should upload the correct pics (the duty versions), and correct that. Szabi ( talk) 20:20, 13 April 2008 (UTC)

Just did some updates to the Poland row of the table. Seemed the major complication was that Poland has three ranks under OR-8, but the general table only allowed for two. The solution was to create a table within a table, to jam 3 into 2. Not the best solution, but would otherwise require a fair bit of time to make a massive overhaul of all table rows. In the table, it says there is "No Equivalent" for OR-3. It should have been "Er" which is the lowest rank in Turkish Army and has no insignia. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 88.234.172.226 ( talk) 18:41, 29 October 2009 (UTC)
