Think this would work better as part of the
Randolph Air Force Base article. It also has a portion for the Historic District. The HD is basically the entire airbase.

Agree with above. If someone is looking for information about the historical field, they'll probably start by looking at the
Randolph Air Force Base article anyway.

This NPS site (see bottom of page) says that the historic district is located at the center of the air base, so they are not equivalent; the district is only 405 acres, I'm sure the entire base is much larger (I saw 2300 acres mentioned somewhere). I think a National Historic Landmark deserves its own article. This article could use a lot of expansion, such as a list of the contributing buildings and some discussion of the architecture.--
