It misrepresents the character of Ralph Edwards and skews the perspective of his life both in regards to his goals and achievements. This is in noway to disparage him but I think his primary motivation was to live and survive in a place he had chosen with the means available to him and succeeding in that for some 50 years before he gave up. I doubt that what we today see as 'nature conservation' was high on his priorities and in any case I think it is demeaning to title him and his life with the word conservationist. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 185.147.20.2 ( talk) 11:12, 16 April 2018 (UTC)

Ralph Edwards (conservationist) →
Ralph Edwards (homesteader) – Restore to its original name. It was
renamed without discussion (by a now-blocked user for "battleground behavior"). While Edwards did do some conservation work late in life, he was best known as being a self-sufficient pioneer - he built and made everything himself in the wilderness. Anyone who has read the books about him, or seen the film, will know this. He was famous long before the conservation work which was secondary, came late in life and was mostly managed by his daughter. See also comment above by anon IP who is in agreement.
